PUF Applications

ACME’s PUF Panel is state-of-the-art Polyurethane, developed exclusively for the tropical climate. Polyurethane foam is the result of a reaction between two liquid components - Polyol and MDI (Methyl diphenyl diisocynate) – which produces air-filled microcapsules.

The key advantages of PUF (polyurethane) over conventional elastomers and plastics; it is stronger, tougher, more durable, and more versatile. It's valued above the parts made with other conventional materials which often crack, break, tear, swell, deteriorate, and abrade. As a result, they can interrupt and slow down your business operation.

Fortified with special additives, PUF exhibits superior properties such as crack bridging, elongation, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, chemical resistant, scratch resistance, extra strength, weather tightness and better overlap, low maintenance cost, good aesthetic and other mechanical properties. The glossy aesthetic surface of PUF makes it an ideal system for a variety of industries.

Polyurethane Foam (PUF) is a close cell plastic capable of being molded into boards and blocks that can be used as a construction material that is both low on maintenance and durable. PUF leads to energy saving and reduced heating/cooling loads.  These are normally available in PPGI sandwiched options of varying length. PUF applications can found in cold rooms, refrigerated vehicles, Green buildings, warehousing and storage applications and low cost housing.

Acme has one of Asia’s largest on-line PUF manufacturing machine with a manufacturing capacity of approx 1 million SQM PA. As per the requirement Sandwiched PUF panels of different thickness and length can be manufactured with consistence chemical and physical properties as per relevant national and international standards. . These PUF Panels are used in insulated buildings as Wall, Floor, and Roof Panels.

The pre-engineered PUF Panels helps to reduce on site waste and ensure the quality of installation, greatly reducing the risk of air leakages, cold bridging and inconsistent insulation.
