Taking Our Commitment Forward

In 2008, ACME Group forayed into solar power generation by establishing the first solar thermal power project in Asia based on tower technology. In 2011, the Company commissioned the first solar photovoltaic power plant in the State of Gujarat.

In 2015, the Group became India’s largest solar power developer with a portfolio of over 1500MW in that year. ACME Group played a crucial role in bringing down Solar tariffs by nearly half in India after commissioning the project at Bhadla solar power park in Rajasthan.

Today, ACME Group is a significant contributor towards lighting up homes and industrial units in India. It has pioneered in development, construction, and operating large-scale solar power projects across different states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Punjab, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.

ACME Group built and operated a solar portfolio of over 5 GWp. The Company currently owns and operates over 1.5 GWp of capacity with another 10 GWp under construction. These are spread across 13 states in India and Oman.

Advanced Step towards Sustainability

With innovation being the forte of ACME Group, it has set up the world’s first integrated pilot project for Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia plant at Bikaner in Rajasthan. In this project, Green Hydrogen is being produced using 5MWp from the solar plant, scalable to 10 MWp. The plant will help in saving approx. 4400 tons/annum of CO2 emissions. This R&D pilot has enriched the Company with knowledge, experience, and learning, which are being utilized in large-scale Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia plants under development overseas.

ACME Group is setting up a world-scale Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia project at the SEZ in Duqm, Oman. The facility aims to export Green Ammonia to demand centers such as Europe and Asia with an investment of nearly $5-6 billion.

The first phase of the facility is expected to produce 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually and will be expanded to 1.2 million tonnes per annum with about 3.5 GW of electrolyser capacity, which will be powered by 5.5 GWp of the solar PV plant.

ACME Group has also announced a green hydrogen and green ammonia project in the state of Tamil Nadu. The agreement with the State Government was signed in presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Thiru M K Stalin during the recent Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave. The project entails an investment of Rs 52,474 crore.

The Company has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Karnataka to invest about Rs 52,000 crore in the State to set up a Green Hydrogen & Green Ammonia project. A MoU is also signed with the Government of Odisha, India for a project in the State.

ACME envisions to become a leading green energy provider in the world by 2030 and producing 10 million tons/year of green ammonia and hydrogen. ACME has started working with various Governments, partners and stakeholders to develop projects in various geographies like Oman, India, Egypt, Australia, and Chile.

We are committed to bring sustainability in some of the toughest sectors to decarbonize like food, agriculture, steel, shipping, cement, aluminum etc.
