Venkatraman Krishnan is a Non Executive Director on the Board of the Company. He is a Chartered Accountant with over four decades of experience in the Corporate Sector.
Shashi Shekhar, a retired IAS officer of Tamil Nadu Cadre, had held various positions in the State and the Central Government. He was joint Secretary, Ministry of Power, and was associated with preparing the Energy Conservation Bill that became an Act in 2002. He was the first Director-General of the Bureau of Energy Efficiency. He spent more than 10 years in the power and renewable energy sector, while in the Government. He presented many papers in international forums on power sector development and climate change. He prepared the 12th Plan draft document of the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy wherein for the first time he advocated wind and solar energy to acquire market orientation. He also worked in the Ministry of Environment & Forest as Additional Secretary and Chairman of the Central Pollution Control Board. He retired in December 2016 as Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. of India. During this period, he initiated far-reaching reforms in the water sector. Currently, he works for policy advocacy, business strategy, and development for solar power, green hydrogen, regulatory issues, IT-based solution for the power sector including RE integration, among others in the ACME Group.
Atul Sabharwal is a founder of Snipp and has over 10 years of experience in the digital media/mobile industry. His earlier experiences include a board role at eSolar, an Idealabs company funded by Google, GE & Oak Capital, founder of the Finalysis Group, and positions with AOL, IBM Business Services (previously PWC Consulting), the Boston Consulting Group, and News Corporation. He holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and attended Wharton.
Rajat Seksaria, Chief Executive Officer of ACME Group, has made the organization the powerhouse of young and talented professionals. One of the youngest non-promoter Chief Executives in the country, dynamism is his forte. An IIM Calcutta alumnus, an electrical engineer from Gujarat University, he possesses rich experience of over 17 years. Rajat is steering the ACME Group into becoming futuristic, nimble footed and yet structured organization and enabled the organization to play a vital role in rapid energy transition, which will throw up unique opportunities and challenges. Under his leadership, ACME Group has successfully streamlined the organizational processes for the execution and timely delivery of projects and other strategic financial transactions. Rajat has played a key role in strategic deals for the company including the issuance of offshore green bonds, partnerships with global firms like SCATEC, UNOPS S3i, IFU & Brookfield Renewables and divestment of assets to Petronas and Actis. Rajat is also at the forefront of ACME’s move into setting up a pioneering global green hydrogen business. With earlier stints with Shell (earlier BG India Ltd), Punj Lloyd and India Power Corporation Limited (IPCL), he has also handled international project development in renewables and infrastructure in Africa, Asia and Europe.
Sandeep Kashyap is a seasoned and highly accomplished executive with over two and a half decades of experience in Business Development, Policy Advocacy, Project Execution and Corporate Affairs. With a fast-track management career marked by demonstrated ability to build peak-performing teams to achieve a cross-functional business objective, Sandeep is leading the ACME Group to the next phase of growth in solar and green hydrogen and ammonia businesses. He played a crucial role in closing recent global partnerships sealed by the Company. Sandeep is an MBA from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Shivaji University.
Neeraj Gupta has over 15 years of experience in equity capital markets, debt capital markets, mergers and acquisition and project finance. He has been with ACME for over 5 years now. He has successfully raised approximately US$ 1.4 billion of equity from marquee investors, US$ 1.7 billion of debt through domestic fund raise and has led multiple M&A and equity raise transactions with marquee funds and institutions like Macquarie, Blackstone, APG, Brookfield, Piramal, Actis, Petronas, SCATEC, UNOPS, IFU. Prior to joining the Company, he worked at Hindustan Power and Tech Mahindra in corporate finance and strategy functions. He holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Indian Institute of Management, Indore and B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Christoph is a chemical engineer by training and has been working in the Indian landscape for more than 20 years. For the last four years, he is the Member of Executive Committee of the World Economic Forum and responsible for the forum´s global initiatives with automotive, supply chain including shipping, aviation, travel tourism and aerospace companies. Committed to net zero transitions, his initiatives such as “Getting to Zero in Shipping” and “Clean Skies of Tomorrow” are focused on fuel transition to green hydrogen, and its derivatives such as green ammonia. In the past, he worked as a Senior Partner at McKinsey for 17 years.
Partha De is leading the next phase of ACME’s vision to grow the Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia business to a scale of 10 million ton per annum by 2030, while maintaining the highest levels of safety, sustainability and governance. Partha has almost three decades of experience in executing state-of- the art mega world-class energy projects of various complexities for global operators. A seasoned project management professional who rose through the ranks working with reputed global energy infrastructure contracting organizations. He has natural leadership qualities with a solid understanding of project and engineering management, commercial and supply chain management, manufacturing and delivery, construction and completion management and operations assistance. He has worked extensively across different geographies – Middle East, India and Europe. Partha has demonstrated continuous innovation towards work process optimization, led strategic operational initiatives creating technology-enabled differentiation bringing about cost reductions, profit improvements and creating a value for the asset owners. Partha holds a Graduate Diploma in Project & Construction Management from NICMAR, India, along with B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering from NERIST. He has also attended Executive & Leadership Programs at London Business School on Finance and Business Management. Prior to joining ACME, Partha worked for Larsen & Toubro, Saipem and Petrofac International Ltd.
Ramesh Kumar joined the Acme Group in 2018 and is a key member of the management team, currently heading the Project Management and Construction functions. He has an extensive experience of 28 years in the Electrical Projects domain. Prior to joining Acme, he has spent 15 years with ABB India in various senior Project Management roles within the High Voltage Substations & Power Generation businesses handling large complex projects encompassing Transmission & Distribution Projects, Thermal and Renewable Power Plants. Earlier, he also had a 8 year stint with Alstom Limited as a Project Manager for High Voltage Substation projects. During his tenure with Acme, he has successfully led cross functional teams in achieving on-time delivery of around 2 GW of projects, with a result oriented and collaborative approach. With an in- depth understanding of the project execution requirements, he leads an experienced and dynamic team of professionals who are fully committed to translating the Group’s ambitious vision into high quality assets. Ramesh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University.
Anil Chutani is responsible for promoting green hydrogen and green ammonia technology at ACME Group. He has over 26 years of professional experience in the technology domain in various sectors including telecom, renewables, energy storage, electric vehicles, hydrogen fuel cells, hydrogen storage, and electrolyzers, among others. He is an expert in engineering, product development, technical due diligence for M&As, and scaling up start-ups from R&D stage to commercial scale. He has Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communications.
Gursharan Jassal has over 15 years of experience in Procurement, Project Management, Business Development, Corporate Strategy & Strategic Advisory in ACME, Tata Consultancy Services, India Today group & Accelerator Group LLC. He holds a MSc in Finance & Management from Cranfield School of Management, England and Bachelor of Engineering from Panjab University.
Rabindran Sundersingh leads the Engineering, QAQC plus safety, and technology functions. He is charged with driving technology and innovation across the several value chains of the ACME Group. He is a strategic thinker in the power and renewables industry, anticipating new developments, managing change, and driving innovation. He is skilled in developing projects, especially at the lowest LCOE. A powerful communicator and influencer, he is adept in setting up, skilling, and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams. With a Bachelor of Technology - Electrical Power degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, Rabindran remains an engineering professional at heart. In his previous role as Director - Engineering with SB Energy of Softbank group, Rabindran was responsible for designing and driving value for over 4 GW of solar, wind, and hybrid projects. Rabindran has had long stints with Tata Power and Reliance Infrastructure, during which he designed, managed, and commissioned large thermal, hydro, pumped storage, and combined cycle generation projects and associated switchyards and transmission lines.
Vivek Tolat has over 15 years of global experience with investments across India, South East Asia, and North America. In addition to an MBA in Finance, he is also a CFA Charter Holder from the CFA Institute, USA. Before joining ACME Group, Vivek held office in New York as Vice President of Investments with a global private equity fund. He has, previously, worked with organizations such as Bravia Capital, Times Group, B&K Securities, JP Morgan and ICICI Bank.
Nishant Kumar has extensive experience in the field of ESG, with a focus on ESG audit/due diligence and impact assessment. Nishant has worked with international consultancies such as AECOM and ERM before joining ACME Group. Nishant has on-site experience in managing multiple projects various facilities throughout India, Africa, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh. Over the years Nishant has initiated and carried out several studies in diverse sectors including power, renewable energy (onshore wind power and solar power, hydropower), pharmaceutical, chemical, infrastructure, manufacturing, oil and gas. His core competencies are practical knowledge and understanding of ESG issues/concerns and understanding of the international standards and guidelines followed by banks and international/multilateral/bilateral agencies like World Banks/ IFC/ ADB. This understanding is based on his hands-on experience of working on projects/ and providing advisory support to clients/ companies and financial institutions that commit to adhere to such standards.
Rajesh Sodhi has more than 25 years of experience in the fields of corporate compliance, investors’ relations, public and private placement of securities, financing documentation and overseas corporate compliance. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Siddhartha P Saikia is a communication and branding professional equipped with over 15-years of experience in business journalism and public relations. He formulates the internal and external communication strategy of the ACME Group by integrating domestic and global business goals. Prior to ACME Group, Siddhartha worked for Maruti Suzuki India, the country’s largest carmaker. He has experience of over a decade in mainstream business journalism with some of India’s finest newspapers including the Hindustan Times, the Hindu Business Line, and the Financial Express.
Kanchan Sinha has more than 18 years of experience and has extensively worked on matters pertaining to General Corporate, M&A, Joint Ventures, Private Equity Investments, Seed Investments, Angel Investments, Foreign Investments, and Cross Border Transactions. Prior to ACME, Kanchan was associated with L&L Partners (Formerly Luthra & Luthra Law Offices), Delhi as Partner - General Corporate/ M&A Practice Division. In the past, she had worked with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. She completed her B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal, India.
